Showing off the logo. This is a culinary social network app. The idea is to solve user´s common problem when trying to find recipes that fit their taste. It´s a pretty big app, with lots of features such as: determining your alimentary behaviours ( vegan, vegetarian, etc.), filtering search and timeline by preferred ingredients, storing your own recipes, add missing ingredients to a shopping list and then verifying where you can buy that ingredient near your location, seeing your friend´s activities, and much more.
My work in this app involved discussing and optimizing it´s wireflow, and constructing all of the layout specifically for the iphone 5. Some of the content was changed by the app´s owner. It´s not available at the app store for now.
Here we can see the main interface. Apple's guidelines were applied. The top menu has a button to access the main profile option and filtering of ingredients, and another to access your saved recipes.
The numbers show how many liked ingredients are present on that specific recipe, and the photo show's the recipe's author. The photo's rim color represents the achievement selected by that person to show off some of it´s accomplishments inside the community, and can be used to draw attention to sponsored recipes or well known chefs.
This shows general information about the recipe such as:
-Friends who have done it;
-Estimated time to prepare it;
-General difficulty of the recipe;
The user can jump directly into the steps of preparing the recipe, or take a better look at it´s ingredients, where he can then add ingredients to it's shopping list.
This image shows the shopping list. WHen the items are added to the shopping list, they are automatically inserted into this alphabetical ordered list.
The ingredients are separated by recipes, and when selected, the user can view where is the closest/cheapest place to buy that ingredient.
To add a recipe, you add ingredients to it, define if you want to share it on social networks or not, add personal pictures of it, and also determine the difficulty of the recipe, after that you can add the separate steps for the recipe, which can need the addition of timers, or not.
